SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is set by United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. The Global Goals aim to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for everyone. The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals give us a plan for a sustainable future for Afghanistan.

Our Contribution

OFSD’s work has a positive impact on the following six goals:

To end poverty in all its forms.

To achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

To promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.

Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.

To ensure access to safe water sources and sanitation for all.

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
